Hi, I’m Danielle Kammerzelt Andrews, Experienced, Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina
Dog Rescuer, Wildly Curious Over-Thinker, Life Re-inventer, Former Business Chick, Hiker, Snowboarder, Barefoot Lovin Wanderer, Trauma Transformer.
Althea and Munchie, my current animal companions
My why…
I believe just about anything is possible when you (1) heal from and let go of the things keeping you stuck, (2) find the right connections, (3) build emotional resilience, and (4) develop the right mindset.
After a shit ton of hard work, help from amazing therapists, and maintaining a solid vision (dream life), I’m endlessly grateful and living a life I once hoped was possible.
To be honest, I wasn’t always sure that the “live your best life” was a thing, at least not for me. Complex Trauma and certain life events have a way of creating chaos and sucking the joy out of your life and relationships.
Fortunately, a therapist changed my life (went through a couple of bad ones). I mean…MIND BLOWN, so much so, after 12-years in the business field, I changed careers to become a therapist. For the last 15-years, it’s been truly inspiring to help others experience freedom, happiness, healthy relationships, live an awesome life, and find relief from fear and chaos.
As your therapist, you’ll find me to be real, authentic, edgy at times, honest, witchy but not woo woo, and occasionally funny. It’s my number one goal for you to feel safe, seen, heard, and understood! I want you to bring all the parts of you to our sessions so that you can move forward, with zero judgement.
“When our deepest wounds become our greatest gifts.”

Values and the Path to Freedom
-
Belonging
“I long, as does every human being, to be at home, wherever I find myself.” - Maya Angelou.
Belonging involves coming home to the magic that exists all around us. A magic likely masked by pain, protection, and insecurities. Without connection, pieces of us die inside and no one deserves to feel or be alone.
-
Gratitude
“It never hurts to keep looking for sunshine.” -Eeyore
Gratitude is an active, day-to-day practice, continuously scanning for what is going well, what’s right, and what’s good! According to research, it’s one of the key things to help you achieve greater happiness.
-
Courage
“Courage is being scared to death but saddling up anyway.” -John Wayne
Courage is trusting ourselves and others, letting go of control, transforming negative beliefs, living our values, and saying no in order to take good care of ourselves.
-
Empowerment
“Stop being afraid of what could go wrong, and start being positive about what could go right.”
Empowerment is taking ownership over our actions and impact, facing our F.E.A.R. (false evidence appearing real), and asking ourselves, “what is my part in helping things go well”.
